Stafford High Shows Character

On January 27th, Stafford High School welcomed Mr. Mark Leinweaver, who led two assemblies entitled "Why Character Matters" (educating students on Social Media Dangers & Consequences, Being Brave In Behavior, the Need To Volunteer and Anti-Bullying Leadership. whycharactermatters.com)
Students then took part in breakout sessions with class officers.

CT Fire Prevention Poster Contest

Two SES students' fire poster designs will be heading to the county level for judging of the CT Fire Prevention Poster Contest. Sean Parnell and Ayden Finely posters.

Stafford Little League registration is open for youth ages 4-14, with assessments in February.

West Stafford Students Growing Peace

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. day, PreKindergarten students at West Stafford School created a Peace Tree. Classes discussed what it means to show respect and be kind to others and created leaves to hang on their collaborative tree! This was in alignment with their Amplify CKLA curriculum.
