Stafford Middle School Library serves approximately 350 sixth through eighth grade students. The library has over 10,000 resources, consisting of books, ebooks, videos, DVDs, and periodicals. In addition, we have a tremendous amount of technology available to staff and students. The mission of the library is to meet the informational, educational, and recreational needs of the students from the Stafford Middle School. The goal of the library program is to develop lifelong learners by using technology, promotion resource based learning and the common core, developing information literacy skills, and fostering a love of reading. In order to achieve these goals the library is committed to working collaboratively with the teachers to promote information literacy skills. The primary focus of the library's collection is to provide the most current resources to complement curriculum. |
